About Our Shop
A Lifetime Love of Food & Flavors
Sweets Mountain Bakery is owned and operated by Ennis Julian. Her love of baking was born at the feet of her grandmother Mabel in rural Wisconsin. Mabel was the queen of down-home farm cooking and baking and instilled in Ennis her great love for all things food and sweet. (Hint: She also shared some of her yummiest recipes.)
Ennis has enjoyed baking ever since and has created custom cakes and dessert specialties for events and weddings from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to Las Vegas and since 2010, in Lake Lure and the surrounding areas in Western North Carolina.

Why Choose Us
“After several cake tastings we decided on Sweets of Lake Lure. We were looking for flavor and texture. They delivered. We tasted some amazing flavors of cake and icing. We needed a gluten free option and really couldn’t tell the difference between the GF and regular cake. They were both so tasty.”
“Sweets of Lake Lure is a business that is easy to work with, Ennis is Extremely Creative. You can tell she loves what she does and does it well. Her cakes and sweets are a must have at our events.”
“The cakes you made were absolutely perfect and delicious!!!! Brian’s Ohio friends and family loved the Ohio State cake! Brian was totally surprised. Let me say this….You were amazing!
